Well, I am now 9 months old and walking pretty good. I just started really taking long stretches of walks about 20 feet or so during the past week at Grandmoma's house. We were hanging out waiting for power to come back on from Hurricane Ike, so I thought this would be a good time to start walking and getting into everything!!! Yes, mommy and grandma said..everything! It's a whole new world ya know? Mommy has 3 new nicknames for me: Hercules, because I am so strong; I reach up and grab the table top and lift my feet off the ground and hang. Then, she also calls me Houdini because of my incredible ability to escape from anything and thru anything. And the newest nickname I have received is Speedy Gonzalez because as soon as I get my eye on something I want, I dart for it as quick as lighting...that explains my new bumps on my head. (about one a day due to my exploration efforts). Well, I must go now, but I wanted to let you know that we weathered the storm ok and just got power Sunday night at home. Back to the daily grind. I have my 9 month check up tomorrow, so I will get back with you on my percentiles. Here's some pics from my 9 month old birthday!
